literacy
lately in our literacy groups we have been learning about careers my career is a veterinarian I’m very passionate about being a veterinarian its something I love doing being with animals thats all I can say for now
math groups
lately in our maths groups we have been learning about multiples for me they are quiet hard.
so basically multiples are like if u had 6 and 5 you would count all the way till like 30 cause 5 and 6 both have the same number so that’s all I can tell you for now
my writing
lately we have been doing writing explanations,writing explanations and persuasive and acrostic it has been had but fun 
challenge that’s all

Welcome to the first Room 3 Blog Post from Mr Joyce!
We do so much learning in this class!
As of term 1, we have started structured literacy. We are looking at vowels, syllables, digraphs and more!
For writing, we have been working on our own myths and legends using native New Zealand creatures.
Our mathematics is based around place value and rounding currently and we have been using maths no problem as a resource too.
Students attend two ‘SPEC’ classes per week which involves; Arts, Textiles, Hard Materials and Cooking.

What are we learning in Room 3?
We’ve been learning about digraphs. These are when two letters write down one sound. I’ve found out about ph, sh and ch.
I found it easy that most English words have one of these digraphs in them.
we also do different type of learning 
Currently we are working on vocabulary I find it a bit hard but I’m getting there.
In maths we are focusing on multiplication,subtraction,division,and addition I find it hard but it’s ok so thank you for listening to me.
